The Challenge
Milspeed, a leading manufacturer based in the Bourton Industrial Estate, Gloucestershire, required a smarter way to manage the electrical demand across a range of industrial machines. With rising energy loads and the need for better operational oversight, they approached E.R Electrical to deliver a bespoke load management system that could provide:

Our Solution
We designed and built a
bespoke load management system with a custom in-house control panel at the core of the project. The panel included:
- Relay indicators for each machine output, enabling status monitoring and fault detection
- Clearly labelled and tracked outputs for quick reference and ease of maintenance
- An intuitive layout to give operators full visibility of load activity across the facility
This wasn’t an off-the-shelf product — it was crafted specifically for Milspeed’s site, and we were genuinely excited to bring it to life.
The Installation Process
Once the panel was fully tested and completed at our workshop, our team carried out a full on-site installation, which included:
- Safe isolation and upgrade of the existing distribution board
- Installation of new cable containment for control wiring and power feeds
- Running new cabling across the facility to integrate seamlessly with Milspeed’s existing infrastructure
- Wall-mounting and connecting the system with a clean, compliant, and professional finish
The Result
The new
load management system is now fully operational, providing:
